Terms of Service

PlayStats ("we", "us", "our") is a cricket analytics platform that helps players and coaches track performance and gain insights from their cricket statistics. PlayStats is operated by Qrcall Pty Ltd (ABN 41 162 843 101), a company registered in Australia. Player statistics displayed on PlayStats are sourced from publicly available data on PlayHQ / Cricket Australia.

When you create a PlayStats account, the sign-up screen shows a notice alongside the sign-up buttons stating that creating an account means you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Creating the account is your acceptance of them, and we record the version you accepted and the date you accepted it.

We may update these terms from time to time. Where a change materially affects your rights we will ask you to accept the new version.

PlayStats provides:

• Aggregated cricket statistics sourced from publicly available data
• Performance analytics, charts, and trend analysis
• Tools for coaches and players to add their own annotations, notes, and metadata
• Ball-by-ball analysis and match breakdowns

You must be at least 16 years old to create a PlayStats account. A parent or guardian may hold an account and follow the statistics of a child in their care.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent. We may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

You retain ownership of all content you create on PlayStats, including annotations, coaching notes, and metadata you add to match records. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content as part of the service. You may delete your content at any time.

Player statistics are sourced from publicly available data provided by PlayHQ and Cricket Australia.

We provide statistics on an "as-is" basis and do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Official records should be verified through PlayHQ or your cricket association.

You must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Scrape, copy, or systematically download data from PlayStats for commercial purposes
• Access the service by automated means outside an interface we document, or circumvent rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service, or attempt to derive its source code
• Use the service, or anything within it that is not publicly available, to design, build, or benchmark a competing product
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

These restrictions exist to protect our product and our data. They do not stop you from building cricket software of your own from your own materials or from information that is publicly available.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, PlayStats is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited.

You may stop using PlayStats at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
