The Daily Drop

Every day this pre-season, we're gifting free PlayStats subscriptions to players and clubs across Australia.

PlayStats is built to change the way recreational cricketers manage their cricket — your stats, your form, your season, all in one place. Starting tomorrow (August 25) and running through to October 11, we're selecting players and clubs daily to receive free 12-month PlayStats subscriptions. No catch, no entry form, no competition. Just a daily gift from us to the cricket community.

And as a bonus, every gift includes a 12-month subscription to SpeakingCricket — the cricket writing platform from PlayStats co-founder, Nick Speak.

Here's how it works.

The first week (Aug 25–29)

We're kicking things off by giving back to the early adopters. For the first five days, we'll be selecting two players each day from our existing PlayStats accounts to receive:

• A 12-month PlayStats Player subscription (valued at $49)
• A 12-month SpeakingCricket subscription (valued at $60)

That's $109 worth of access, on us.

The main event (Aug 31–Oct 11)

From August 31, we go national. Every day for six weeks, we'll be selecting two players and one club to receive free subscriptions — rotating through a different state each week.

Players receive:

• A 12-month PlayStats Player subscription (valued at $49)
• A 12-month SpeakingCricket subscription (valued at $60)

Clubs receive:

• A 12-month PlayStats Club plan (valued at $199)
• A 12-month SpeakingCricket subscription (valued at $60)

The state rotation

Each week we focus on a different part of the country:

• Week 1 (Aug 31–Sep 6): Queensland
• Week 2 (Sep 7–13): Victoria
• Week 3 (Sep 14–20): New South Wales & ACT
• Week 4 (Sep 21–27): South Australia & Northern Territory
• Week 5 (Sep 28–Oct 4): Western Australia
• Week 6 (Oct 5–11): Tasmania

How to claim

If you're selected, we'll reach out to you directly — via DM, through the app, and on our socials. To claim your gift, you'll need to:

1. Follow PlayStats on both Twitter/X and Instagram
2. Respond within 7 days

That's it. If we don't hear back within 7 days, the gift lapses. We will do everything we can from our end to make contact with you.

Why we're doing this

PlayStats was built by cricket people, for cricket people. The season is here, and we want as many players and clubs as possible set up and ready to go. This is our way of putting the platform in your hands and letting it speak for itself.

Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion details

This promotion ("The Daily Drop") is operated by PlayStats. It runs from August 25, 2026 to October 11, 2026 inclusive. The Daily Drop is a gift promotion — it is not a competition, prize draw, or game of chance. No purchase is necessary. Recipients are selected at the sole discretion of PlayStats.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

• Be aged 16 years or older
• Be a registered community cricketer or club in Australia (main promotion), or hold an existing PlayStats account (soft launch, Aug 25–29)
• Have played a minimum of 5 matches in the 2025–26 season (player gifts only)

3. Gift details

Player gift: 12-month PlayStats Player subscription (valued at $49) and 12-month SpeakingCricket subscription (valued at $60). Total value: $109.

Club gift: 12-month PlayStats Club plan (valued at $199) and 12-month SpeakingCricket subscription (valued at $60). Total value: $259.

All subscriptions will be activated upon claiming and run for 12 months from the date of activation.

4. Selection and notification

During the soft launch period (August 25–29, 2026), two players will be selected daily from existing PlayStats player and supporter accounts.

During the main promotion period (August 31–October 11, 2026), two players and one club will be selected daily from within the designated state or state group for that week.

Recipients will be notified via direct message, in-app notification, and/or social media post.

5. Claiming

To claim a gift, the selected recipient must:

• Follow PlayStats on both Twitter/X and Instagram
• Respond to the notification within 7 calendar days of being selected

Gifts not claimed within the 7-day window will lapse and will not be reissued or transferred.

6. Limitations

• Each player or club may receive a gift only once during the promotion period
• Gifts are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products
• PlayStats reserves the right to verify eligibility and to withhold or revoke a gift if eligibility conditions are not met

7. General

PlayStats reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel The Daily Drop at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated via PlayStats social media channels.

This promotion is governed by the laws of Australia. By accepting a gift, the recipient agrees to these terms and conditions.
